The
kitchen was one of the first rooms we tackled.
The wallpaper was horrendous:
Just getting rid of that and painting the walls off-white made
a huge difference.
We had the good fortune to be able to replace all the appliances at the same
time.

Someday we hope to be able to afford
to replace the brick-red linoleum and wall tiles!
